The platform is very good, but I wish there was a way to share video within the chat function. When a buyer contacted me about my dress, I tried to send a video so she could see the dress in real time, but I could not. I ended up going off of your platform into IG to share the video. Also, I would like a face to face interaction to be available from your platform as well, so I don’t have to share any private information but I can still see a dress “live” and ask questions directly.

My gorgeous Modeca dress was listed on the site for over two years before being sold however, it is a wonderful and very safe platform to use! I did reduce the price of my dress a few times as, like cars, dresses depreciate and trends, as well preference in brides style change often. This having being said, it was great interacting the brides to be that showed an interest during the time the dress was listed and although my heart is a little sore to see my beloved "Beth" go, I am more than thrilled that she will be loved and worn again by her new owner!! Can’t beat Stillwhite for the selection of dresses available. So many are current and in fab condition compared to the dated sad offerings on some resale sites. Dress details interface is clean and easy to see everything you might want to know. Selling journey is straightforward and easy. Removed 1 star as it wasn’t clear that - having not sold through PayPal before - they would retain my money for a month. Obviously appreciate this is a PayPal restriction not a Stillwhite one, but it would have been good to know up front in the Stillwhite seller info, since PayPal is the embedded Buy It Now merchant.

Super easy to use! Just have patience and the right buyer will come to you. Also, take good photos, that always helps. :) It’s so worth it to do the $30 premium deal up front. Would highly recommend this site to anyone needing to sell a dress. Very easy to communicate and get payment and you also get notifications if someone’s account is fishy, which my first interested buyer was. I had no idea, but thankfully got notifications in time to avoid any bad deals.

Overall I liked the platform but I would have liked a more guided process for the actual sale vs. handling in the chat thread. Even though you have a lot of helpful guides on the site on how to manage the sale, I missed a few key things, like making sure the buyer knows to buy insurance on the shipping (we had a snag through UPS on their end and insurance would have helped, though neither of us even really thougth about it). I'd suggest that when someone is ready to buy, you have a "ready to buy" button option for the chat, which then leads into a step-by-step form that the buyer fills out requesting a preferred shipping vendor, shipping costs, insurance, and then THEY generate the label and send to the seller. The seller would have to have information for them too, but it would make the process a lot easier because the buyer can feel comfortable that they are calling the shots in terms of shipping especially since they are paying for it. Other than that, for PR purposes, I'd recommend introducing a "donate instead" option for brides. I looked into this a bunch, but most of the companies forced the donor to pay for shipping, which I felt was a bit much considering you're donating such a high-value item. Most of them were also connected to causes that I just didn't feel passionate enough about. It could be an option right from the start, OR, you could offer it if the listing has been sitting around a bit on the site and not getting action. I was honestly just about to donate it because mine took about 2 years to sell, but then I connected with a buyer and got the sale completed. Creating your own charity would be an easy way to show you care and would connect all sorts of in-need brides with the dress of their dreams.

I loved the search platform and the ability to sell, however I was significantly less impressed with the communication routes and the actual purchase process. Neither of us (myself and the seller) were receiving messages accurately and in real time. Most messages were 5-10 mins off so both of us felt like one of us was ignoring the other. When it came to meeting up and completing the transaction, neither of us new that it was through paypal. And there should definitely be a change of notice on both side. (Instead of having a button saying "Send buy button," it should say "Send paypal payment request") I do not trust paypal period after my experiences with the company previous (thus I had to use my fiance's account) and she had only ever paid through paypal and had no idea about a waiting period for transferring of funds. Even after I explained it to her, she kept messaging and texting me several times like I was trying to cheat her out of this dress. I still tell my frinds about this site, but I caution them and I am not super impressed after the whole thing.....
