Fairly easy to browse dresses, though there seems to be confusion among sellers on where to list actual dress size vs street size. I contacted several potential dress listings to confirm sizing and a majority of the time it was not what was advertised on the listing. More clarity for sellers or removing the street size altogether is a suggestion.

Platform makes it easy to list wedding gowns for sale. Fees get a little high, especially if selling multiple gowns, wish sellers with “storefronts” would recieve a better discount. The fees are discouraging me from listing more on here especially when I am having success listing on free platforms. This site is great for further reach, but doesn’t help promote my boutique and gets expensive.

Overall I have had a good experience using stillwhite. I have now sold 2 dresses. My one complaint is the shipping - when a buyer makes an offer, the seller confirms and confirms the cost of shipping at this point the buyer does not have the shipping address or zip code. So getting an accurate estimate shipping is very difficult. Also takes multiple rounds of going to the post office because first you need to get the shipping estimate then wait however many hours for the buyer to confirm the order then go back. Shipping through other platforms such as eBay has never been as much of an obstacle.

After my experience I'd only recommend StillWhite if the buyer is local and able to see the dress in person OR if it's a new dress that the buyer has tried on elsewhere. There's too much variables and I honestly don't trust most people to be transparent about any issues with their dresses. Unfortunately the dress I bought had a pretty obvious flaw that the seller did not disclose (despite the fact that I specifically asked if there were "any other flaws I should know about" and was told "no, it's just wrinkled from storage") that will need to be repaired by a seamstress. I reached out her to ask about a partial refund, and was given a rude, dismissive response that implied she was doing me a favor by selling me the dress. I know I could open a dispute but frankly I don't want to return the dress, due to combination of the hassle of making the return (I'm in a rural area with no nearby UPS facilities), dealing with an already rude seller, and that I am still interested in wearing the dress...I just wish the issue was disclosed ahead of time and feel that a partial refund would have been appropriate (I didn't even name an amount as I wanted to be flexible with the seller). I likely would have made a lower offer had I known this issue before buying the dress (I was very careful to buy a dress that would not need hemmed and was sized appropriately for me to avoid excessive alterations).

It would have been nice to have a payout method other than paypal. Using PayPal was a hassle and almost made me regret using Stillwhite. I understand the security of buyer and seller being top priority, but both buyer and seller had to go through extra steps to send and receive funds. On my end as the seller it was a headache, being a new seller on paypal, there was a hold on my account and funds which made me very skeptical about sending the dress that the seller had already paid for. This can create problems as it makes me, the buyer, look bad as if I were a scammer as well as not being able to ship within the original anticipated time frame. I'm aware that this is more a fault on PayPal than stillwhite, but the fact that paypal is the only payout method is the reason I h gave 3 stars.

I had a really smooth experience using Stillwhite; the range of dresses is very good, and the filter and alert functions are extremely helpful. The seller I bought from was lovely and very communicative, answering all my questions quickly. I found the protection of buying through Stillwhite and PayPal reassuring. It still felt a little scary making such a big/important purchase through Stillwhite, but I'm so glad I did!!! It's brought 7 months of searching for a wedding dress to an end for me; I'm so glad I don't have to walk into another bridal shop, as that wasn't an experience that I personally enjoyed. I knew what I liked and didn't like, and I'm so glad I trusted my instincts when I saw 'the one' on Stillwhite. Take the time to work out what suits you and what features are 'must haves' for you, take your measurements carefully, then trust the process and yourself, and you could end up - like me - with your dream dress within your budget!

Your cut is so high, but also Paypal act like the sellers are merchants so charged the same amount on top of the Still White fee (which wasn’t disclosed before). Now Paypal have blocked my account and I can’t even access the funds despite the parcel having been delivered last week. You should also be clear in the early process that you require tracked and signed shipping with insurance etc, that really drives us the cost and led me to quote €20 for shipping, only to realise it would cost be €80 to post after the postal conditions were made clear AFTER naming my price. So ended us costing me almost €200 to sell - just really didn’t appreciate all the hidden costs

This gown is my third purchase from StillWhite. Second from this seller. I found an amazing gown that is absolutely perfect for me this time! The first sale was misrepresented, but Stillwhite stuck behind me, and I was able to return and get refunded with minimal hassle once I reached out and provided documentation. I did lose return shipping costs, but that was stated up front. The other two purchases were smooth and exactly as described by the seller. I have one more gown coming from Stillwhite as I have been somewhat indecisive. But I am confident that the gown I received today or the one coming is my gown for our day. I love the ability to purchase and sell on here, although I do wish selling fees were a tad less for individual sellers; it does make it a little harder for us. But it seems to be a safer site with much higher-quality dresses. I can find gowns on here that I wouldn't find anywhere near me.
