“I think your platform is amazing! It was so easy to communicate with the sellers. You also have an amazing variety of dresses to choose from!
I would like if you could arrange a more affordable way of shipping the dresses. I stay in SA and bought a dress from the US, the shipping costs cost me three times more than the dress and almost made me opt to not buy the dress.”

About the Dress

Elegant, understated Lis Simon wedding gown.

The satin jersey skirt has a beautiful drape and is a substantial weight, keeping everything underneath looking smooth. The sheer lace on the bodice forms a bateau neckline over an underlying sweetheart neckline - classic, but a little cheeky. The bodice is quite structured - no need for bra cups, but they could be added. As the close-up shows, the lace is less frilly and more architectural than other wedding gown laces. There is some very subtle sparkle on the front - just enough to make the lace pop. I'm not a sparkle person, but I really liked this element. The lace on the back is sheer. The back is low and scooped and buttons extend just over the seat. The train is court-length and can be bustled.

I wore this dress for my October 2019 wedding, but I think it would work well in any season. I wore a shawl during the outdoor ceremony, which made for a really gorgeous silhouette. The designer describes the silhouette of the dress as fit-and-flare, but the bridal shop said it could also be described as a modified A-line. The dress is fitted through the hips, but it does open up a bit just over the knees. As a result, the skirt has beautiful movement to it when walking or dancing. It's definitely not the typical tulle-filled fit and flare.

This dress was a pleasure to sit, stand and dance in. People raved about it it and to be honest, I felt like a goddess in it.

The only "wear" is that the train got dirty. I had the dress professionally dry-cleaned immediately after the wedding and it appears to have removed the stains completely.
