About the Dress

This dress feels like a hug- it's sexy but really supportive due to the lace/open back with sheer lining. The fabric is forgiving - while the dress is form fitting, I didn't feel like my tummy was sticking out or noticeable - which was definitely a concern with this style of dress.

The under lining is dark nude- which tbh, I didn't set out to find, but absolutely loved. The contrast really accentuates the good part of your curves while making you feel very slender- accentuating your waist.

This dress was a yes the first time I put it on, I was totally on the path to finding something else - with a fuller skirt, etc. But I would encourage you to try on a mermaid dress if you haven't, it was surprisingly beautiful and effortless.
