About the Dress

Sequoia is a DREAM. This stunner made me feel the most beautiful and free-spirited I have ever felt in my entire life. Like beyond words really. From a beautifully unique embroidered lace overlay, plunging neckline, insanely sexy open back (that I worked very hard to make sure I had a toned back to showcase alongside this dress) and hugging your curves in all the right spots, I couldn't imagine marrying my best friend in any other dress. It photographs beautifully too.

My husband I ended up hiking/eloping in Colorado, and this beaut held up through it all. I cannot stress enough how perfect this dress was for our special day. I genuinely just want another bride to experience the absolute joy, beauty and love I felt while wearing Sequoia (without having to pay the Rue premium outright + initial up-front cost of alterations which runs higher than most wedding dresses due its delicate lace overlay).

I do want to be fully transparent around the condition. There's some fraying/wear on the hem of the dress from hiking through some uneven ground/rocks and some small snags in the threading of the dress in two spots on the dress. IMO, it's not at all noticeable but I'm more than happy to share photos of those spots to anyone seriously interested.

Overall, my dress is in really good condition and the dry cleaner was able to get it back to looking pretty stinkin' new. In the dry cleaning process, the "eye" for the hook fell off so you'll need to take that to a seamstress to get it added.
