buyerI bought a near new sample Watters wedding dress, at less than half price, through StillWhite. The process was simple and quick - found what I wanted, within in my budget, in under 2 weeks. sellerI think this is great I just think there needs to be a way to protect the seller too because my dress meant alot to me and if the buyer were to come back and not like it then I'm stuck with a dress someone tried on may have ruined and now it's no longer valuable thats my fear as I paid 3250 for it sold it for 2500 though I should still have sold it for more. Though sales are final there are people that may challenge this. Maybe an insurance option for the dress ?MoreNicole, Hammond

buyerThe service is good. The concept is great. However, I have just purchased 3 different dresses from this website. The first was perfect, as described and in great condition. The second stated it was dry-cleaned, however, on receipt I found twigs and grass stuck in the lace at the bottom of the gown. It was clearly not dry-cleaned as described. The third one has a torn shoulder strap (approx 1 inch) as well as quite obvious staining all over the wide straps and under arms, and god know what all over the back. Looks like fake tan that did not come off when she had it dry-cleaned. Really started off quite well, but now I am not interested in purchasing from these people anymore because it's obvious that they are looking to make money through dishonest descriptions. Any dispute that is opened will also mean that the seller obviously still has your full name and contact details, so I'm not comfortable calling out a persons bad behaviour when they have my address and I know nothing about them. To avoid this, it is likely that I will no longer use this website. I'd rather use a store website as although the product will cost more, at least I won't have to spend more money cleaning and fixing a dress in order to get any use out of it.More

sellerIt was nearly impossible to sell my dress online. I kept getting low balling bridezillas trying to take advantage of me. It took me 1.5 years to sell this dress and I am not happy with the process. I basically ended up giving it away for a low price because I was sick of the process.MoreYasmeen, Edmonton

buyerI love the idea! Wedding dresses are so expensive and worn for such a short time. I also wasn't able to buy the dress I liked because my wedding was in 8 months, but the dress took 5 months to custom make and I was worried about rushing alterations. This was a great alternative to getting the exact dress I wanted at less than 1/2 the cost. One thing I did struggle with- designers obviously change their dresses every year and given brides buy their dresses way in advance, there is a time lag between what you can try on in the store and what is available for resale on the secondary market. I'm not sure how to solve, but would love a way to anticipate when certain dresses might be available given timing is critical for this purchase.MoreMegan, Detroit
