About the Dress

This is the beautiful Vicenta, a Pronovias Atelier gown. It features a lace bodice with sheer illusion and a very low back. The bottom is a very light crepe with a long cathedral train that does have some scattered lace detailing. It feels like a heavenly night gown, but is SO flattering on the body. It is pure elegance and was a dream to wear.

Though it was slightly hemmed for my height, the train is extremely long and has silk strings to hold around your wrist while walking (see photo) or loops to bustle in the back. There are 5 small clear buttons to attach the bustle.

Condition: The dress is in beautiful condition. There is some wear/dusting at some of the hemline and on the train but all marks are mostly underneath and are not really visible when wearing the dress. Four of the original loops for the bustle are still attached; one will need to be added but it is a very tiny loop that any seamstress can add. Technically you do not need to use all 5 buttons for the bustle to look appropriate, though.

I am 5’4 and 1/2 inches tall and wore 3 1/2 inch heels. The dress is a size 0. From the waistline to the end of the train measures 87 inches (over 7 feet), so it is a very long train which can be taken in a bit if necessary. From the top of the shoulder to the waistline measures 17 inches and from the waistline to the front hem measures 43 inches.
