How do I delete a sent message, photo or video?
Deleting messages is particularly useful if you sent a message to the wrong chat or if the message you sent contains a mistake.
Messages that are successfully deleted will display as Message deleted.
To delete a message, photo, or video
Website
- Go to your Inbox
- Open the conversation
- Click the icon under the message, photo, or video you want to delete
- Select Delete
Mobile app
- Select the Inbox tab
- Open the conversation
- Tap and hold the message, photo, or video you want to delete for 2 seconds
- Select Delete
