The Dress

This divine custom-made dress entails the craftsmanship of Sonia Cappellazzo, detailing with her unique simplistic, yet elegant draping with the fabric. Crafted throughout multiple fittings, Sonia used my brief of a 'simple, yet elegant and flawless dress that is lightweight and easy to move in', and created the most perfect dress.

This custom-made dress is a two-piece, consisting of:

1. a short, cross-shoulder dress, detailed with flawless folds throughout the fabric, creating a natural and simple detail that complements the body.
**The fabric is an exquisite Italian silk that Sonia uses exclusively. This dress has a low back (beneath the shoulder bone), with a row of pearls as buttons (and a zip underneath that for extra support), and an angled finish along the legs. The dress has boning for extra support and shape around the bodice, with built-in support for the bust.

2. a long, lightweight yet full-bodied skirt, crafted to snatch at the waistline with additional straps to wrap around and make into a bow either at the front or the back (I wore it as one single bow hoop, on the side at the front, as pictured above).
**This skirt has a 1.6m tail, with a leg-opening/split on the right hand side. It has a few small hooks to pin up and dance your night freely. It is made of pure Taffeta fabric, which is what allows it to be SUPER lightweight, yet full bodied. With the unique draping around the hips, this skirt is designed to look completely full, min any heavy layers underneath - you can make it look like an A-line or more like a ballgown, up to you!

The dress has been dry-cleaned and professionally packaged. All original packaging is included, as pictured above.

Condition: minor wears are present, such as:
- a pearl button is missing (low, beneath skirt level)
- some very light marks in the inner skirt line from touching the ground (these have been cleaned and therefore are not noticeable)
