This gown is my third purchase from StillWhite. Second from this seller. I found an amazing gown that is absolutely perfect for me this time! The first sale was misrepresented, but Stillwhite stuck behind me, and I was able to return and get refunded with minimal hassle once I reached out and provided documentation. I did lose return shipping costs, but that was stated up front. The other two purchases were smooth and exactly as described by the seller. I have one more gown coming from Stillwhite as I have been somewhat indecisive. But I am confident that the gown I received today or the one coming is my gown for our day. I love the ability to purchase and sell on here, although I do wish selling fees were a tad less for individual sellers; it does make it a little harder for us. But it seems to be a safer site with much higher-quality dresses. I can find gowns on here that I wouldn't find anywhere near me.

The whole experience was grait, from listing the dress to the moment i accepted the offer. My only complain and i wish i had know before was the receiving the money part. Stillwhite uses Paypal and their policy is not to help the sellers or to the sellers best interest. I whish that Stillwhite would have said how the whole process really is before listing anything. The waiting period for the seller to received the money can be up to 21 days since paypal place a hold on that money in case the buyer wants to return (imagined) for a buyers prospective i think i will buy here now as a seller not sure is a very safe option. Just my experience, and I an very lucky there was not return on behalf of my buyer, but the whole experience after the accepting was very frustated.

My selling transaction went very smoothly and well. I think the main thing is to be completely upfront about the gown's condition. Disclose anything, no matter how small it may seem. Make sure the gown has been stored properly and is free of any odors. Double check everything before listing and again before shipping. No bride wants an unpleasant surprise especially when it comes to her gown. Fees get a little expensive and there are so many gowns on StillWhite which does make selling somewhat difficult.

Platform was good, took about 2 years to sell my dress however we got there in the end. When it came to selling the dress, you needed to link a paypal account to receive the payment however this part shouldve been explained at the start due to account set up restrictions with paypal. Stillwhite should prompt you sellers to create a paypal account when they put a dress up for sale and then your account is set up and not marked as suspcious. Happy to give more feedback on this.

I guess it's hard for you to control how people post things but there were huge inconsistencies between what people posted as the dress label size and the actual size. I contacted one boutique that said the dress was label size 10. When I got there it was Street size 10, label size 14. The dress i ended up buying from another person said brand new, label size 10. It looked more like a sample dress than an actual brand new and the label size was 12. That makes the site so much harder to go through. As well as the pictures shifting frequently.
