Why do I need to pay for insurance?

It may be tempting, but if you skip the insurance, a seller may be left without a dress or payment.

In the unlikely event the dress is lost in transit or sustains major damage, insurance covers both buyer and seller for the cost of the sale. The buyers order is refunded and the seller receives the insurance payout.

Doesn't PayPal already include insurance?

No, PayPal does not offer insurance cover. PayPal's resolution process handles refund requests and will refund the buyer if the dress arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive at all.
