Tina & Elias' Traditional Lebanese Wedding

Meeting through mutual friends, Tina and Elias knew they wanted to be together forever.

After 7 years together Tina and Elias began married life with a huge traditional Lebanese celebration.

"As we are both Lebanese after a couple of years of dating we planned to get engaged, traditionally Elias approached my father and asked for my hand in marriage however he still kept the proposal a surprise. The following week Elias planned a day out however he felt sick and asked me to go over instead. During the day he reached out and pulled out a box and placed it in my hand and requested to open it, as I did it was EMPTY!!! I was shattered, however he attempted it again and requested I open the box but I refused. This time he opened the box which did have the ring and he asked me to be his wife! Elias had promised he was going to propose on that day and nothing was going to stop him not even him being sick and his plans being cancelled!

I wanted a dress that will be remembered forever and George Elsissa created a masterpiece that I am forever grateful for! George Elsissa and I designed this dress together. It was the detail that was important to me and the detail is spectacular! The lace is embeded with pearls and amazing details. The ruffled skirt is approximately 4 meters long and made from french tulle.

We both wanted a traditional Lebanese wedding, we had a total of 450 guests, 30 drummers, singers, live entertainment, bongos, saxophone, fire blowers and fireworks! We wanted everyone to have a good time and make it a memorable moment, so food, beverages and comfort was important to us. We went for a elegant and classy but a romantic look.

For us our wedding day was a spectacular moment as we had been together for 7 years and were ready to embark on the next chapter in our lives. We were left in awe with our wedding and it was more than what we imagined as we danced the night away!

We are wanting to invest in our future and start a family, selling the dress would help us so much. If I am able to make another brides dreams come true and make her feel like the princess that I did on my wedding day it would be the most amazing feeling in the world!"

I found the site easy to use and easy to communicate with sellers. Ultimately, I found a very good price on a brand new dress - about $800 less than retail and with less wait time. The woman I bought it from is a super lovely lady and I felt confident about the purchase. I wish there were more veils and accessories listed! My only hiccup was the fault of UPS - they didn’t come up to my apartment for a signature and someone signed for it in the lobby and then left it there 🤦🏻‍♀️ completely defeating the purpose of an expensive signature-required delivery. But I got the dress and it’s beautiful and I get to brag forever about how little I spent on my wedding dress 🤣✨🌙
