Cathedral ceilings with lights hanging from every possible corner. Rustic farm tables laden with fresh flowers, truffles, peach napkins, and even fresh peaches on the table.
A giant barn provides the perfect backdrop for Marcus and Karley's wedding.
"Marcus and I met when we were next door neighbors living in Newport Beach, California. What started as a friendship blossomed into a relationship over the summer and soon we were traveling together each time we went to see our families up north. Marcus proposed 2 years after dating at my favorite spot in the world- Loon Lake, Washington. He hung bistro lights and we danced as the sunset and then he got down on one knee! Of course I started planning our wedding the next day!
I have always loved backless dresses and wanted one to match my love for simplicity with the ability to "wow" with the details. When I tried on the "Amy" Galia Lahav, I fell in love instantly. The fitted body and low back with intricate lace detail were absolute perfection. I immediately knew I wanted to marry Marcus in this dress. My favorite part about the wedding was surprising Marcus by entering on a firetruck, sirens and all! Since he is a firefighter, I wanted to have this surprising entrance for him.
I truly hope my dress can bring as much happiness to another bride as it did for me. Every woman feels beautiful on their wedding day (as they should!) but I can't even count how many compliments I received that my dress was "The most beautiful thing they had ever seen." It truly was jaw dropping and yet still comfortable. I have never felt so beautiful, and of course Marcus loved it too! With the money from selling our dress, we hope to prepare for our honeymoon baby due this March."
