The Dress

I am selling this amazing custom made wedding gown and veil that I wore for my wedding in May 2017. I absolutely loved my dress and it was perfect in every way.

Sonia Cappelazzo is amazing Melbourne designed based in Camberwell who made me this incredible dress, made from the most manuable and comfortable material. It is made from a neoprene type fabric and figure hugging in all the right places.

The dress has many asymmetrical lines and detail which I have tried to show in the images attached. It wasn't like any other dress I tried on and about half the weight of a regular wedding dress - which I loved!

I really wanted a different look for day and for the evening. And as you will see in my photos, you can remove the bow and can bustle up the train at the back. BOW IS DETACHABLE AND LOOKS GREAT WITH OR WITHOUT!

I am generally a size 8 for the upper body and size 8-10 below. I also fluctuate between a 10C-D cup. I do not know my exact measurements at the time of the wedding but I have listed my current measurements below. (I have probably put on 1-2 kilos enjoying life post wedding, but the dress still fits me perfectly.

Bust: 85 cm
Hips: 104cm
Waist: 72cm

The dress was made for my height and I am approx. 165 cm tall. I wore enormous heels on the day that were 10cm +. On top of that, the dress still has quite a train and extra length. Therefore if you are taller than me, there is lots of length and it can easily be cut. (No hemming required as this is simply how the dress maker altered my length throughout the fittings by cutting it.)

The dress has been dry cleaned a number of times by Penguin Dry Cleaners (Cappellazzo's preferred dry cleaner) and in very good condition! There are some minor marks and discoloration on the very bottom of the dress/ train that are not very visible. It is only a few centimeters from where the dress dragged on the ground. I was going to get the dressmaker to cut this but I have decided not too in case we have some tall girls interested.
