About the Dress

The Viviana gown takes a thoroughly modern approach to old Hollywood glamour. Featuring a structured cowl bodice and gracefully draped off the shoulder sleeves. Angled pleats flatter the tummy, and a dramatic cutaway slit lends the perfect opportunity for a fabulous statement shoe.

Notes: I measured closer to a size 6 for the dress however I decided to size up when ordering. If you're a true size 6 I think this dress would fit perfectly. Out of all the dresses I tried on, this was the most comfortable. Super comfortable to sit, eat and dance in. I didn't have to wear shapewear, I simply wore nipple covers. I made every effort to keep this dress as clean as possible and barely ever put the train down aside from our couple's photos. The buttons on the back are a beautiful detail, but I am super glad it was all for the detail and for convenience I could get in & out of the dress with a zipper.

Alterations

Since I sized up from a size 6 to a size 8 I had to take in the dress around my torso. I took it in VERY little around the hips. I'm 5'6" and I wore 3 1/4" heels and I kept the hem close to the ground, I didn't want my shoes to show too much but also didn't want to trip when walking.
