There is a body suit inside, so there is no need for any spanx underneath. The back zips to make it easy to put on. Very light weight for a spring/summer/fall wedding. Only worn for 6 hours and will be professionally cleaned.
Alterations
I am 5’3’’ and had 3/4 inch heels on. The seamstress said it would be easy to add extra length if needed. We tightened the waist a little bit and the breast area to fit my breast area 36/DD.
