Minimalist, understated and elegant vintage Vera Wang, purchased from Liberty London.
Made from ivory crepe in UK/AUS size 6 with a simple bateau neckline and a stunning v back.
I loved wearing this dress - it felt very comfortable and light, so would be ideal for a summer wedding.
Alterations
Alterations: In-house tailors at Liberty London added a bustle to lift the train as well as a lining. They also added bra cups which I have removed. No further alterations were made to the length or fit of the dress (I'm 5ft 4 in, standard size 6)
Dry cleaning: the dress was professionallly dry cleaned within days of the wedding by a specialist wedding dress dry cleaner in Sydney and stored in acid-free paper. Except for one pinhead-sized mark on the lower front left thigh side, which is almost imperceptible (see image), it is in immaculate condition.
