The Dress

Wore this for my June 2023 wedding, the Gigi dress is in the 2022 line from Alyssa Kristin. It is very, very similar to their popular Sydney gown - only real difference is the back embellishment.

Crepe square neck gown with long dramatic train and an embellished sheer square back with button loop closure. The sheer fabric creates the illusion of a lower back all while maintaining support.

I'm 5'8", I wore 3" heels and then high top sneakers to dance. It was hemmed to work for that, so if you're shorter than me or plan to wear flats this should work well! I added a side slit, and had the straps very slightly shortened. I also added a bustle (shown in pictures).

Dress has been professionally cleaned ($150). No visible flaws - there are a few thread pulls to the inside of the lining from friction with shoes but not visible to anyone and could just be snipped.

Alterations
