The Dress

I purchased this gorgeous dress from another lovely StillWhite seller, but unfortunately the sleeves don't fit me properly and so I am very reluctantly selling it on.

This beautiful dress calls to mind a modern Grace Kelly. The skirt is mikado satin, with satin buttons trailing down the entire back of the dress. The bodice is decorated with the most intricate hand embroidered flower petals and delicate leaves.

While wedding dress shopping, I found it difficult to find dresses that were both modest and chic at the same time. So when I stumbled across this dress, I gasped. The neckline, the sheer bodice and long sleeves reminded me of Meghan Markle's engagement dress. It truly is the epitome of royal timelessness.

The condition of this dress is practically perfect. There is not a single stain, scuff or discolouration on the dress, even on the hemline. The original bride wore it only once for her wedding and then immediately got it professionally dry-cleaned. The only thing to note is that two buttons in the back fell off (see the second last photo). I was aware of this before buying it from the original bride, but I wasn't worried because buttons are very easy to replace at a low cost and my seamstress said it would be really straightforward.

I have gone to great lengths to keep this dress in pristine condition. I am happy to also include the special acid-free cotton garment bag that I bought specially to store the dress safely in. The dress even comes with a Milla Nova authenticity tag.

This dress is truly a gorgeous work of art, and although I wish I could wear it myself, I hope it makes another bride very happy! It is begging to be worn and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it finds the perfect home.
