The Dress

This was THE BEST dress. One of the criteria when selecting my wedding dress was that it must be lightweight, and this dress is just that! With fashion tape along the bodice of it, I danced without it budging all night (quite a feat for strapless dresses). This dress is gorgeous, and made me feel like a princess all day long.

I will send two beautiful ivory veils, one a shorter length, and one cathedral (pictured), in addition to the dress.

The dress does have wear! A very small rip in the outer layer of tulle that would be easily covered with a piece of lace, and a couple spots with dirt that would need to be cleaned. The dress has been partly cleaned, and due to that the train (which got the dirtiest and took the longest to wash) is a shade lighter than the rest of the dress, again, not noticeable unless you hold up the train to the bodice and are astutely looking for it. Alterations

I added one layer of shimmer white tulle. The dress looked almost two tonal BEFORE the alterations, as the top had the same darker mocha slip as the bottom, but additional layers of white/ivory tulle. Now the dress looks the same toned throughout.

I added a french bustle with a total of 6 (or maybe even 7) different spots to bustle! 3 for the top two layers of fabric, and 3 or 4 for the bottom two layers. Held up all night.
