The Dress
This beautiful dress is made from delicate ivory floral lace with ladder trim detailing, key-hole cut out back, and waist-defining silhouette. With a slim fit over the hips, and the flare cut into the skirt, the gown is elegant and feminine.
I wore this on my wedding day in July 2022 and have since had it dry cleaned. There are a few marks on the hem of the lining but this is not visible when worn.
I chose this dress because it is flattering and elegant with a bit of a vintage feel to it and it was also, importantly, very comfortable to wear!
Alterations
I had this dress altered to fit me as it was too long. I am 5’5 and wore 2 inch heels and the altered dress skimmed the ground. Because of the unique shape it was altered to retain the lace pattern at the hem and flattering flare shape by lifting the skirt and reattaching it to the waist band. The dress was also too large for me in the busy area (I am 34B bra size) so it was taken in there as well.
