The Dress

An absolutely stunning dress by Essense of Australia. Worn once.

The dress is no longer made by the designer. This particular one has been adapted to include a corset back, which is beautiful. It is unusual in having straps and the corset back, allowing it to accommodate a range of chest sizes.

I bought it second-hand, worn once, in absolutely beautiful condition and dry-cleaned.

It comes boxed and with the cathedral veil, which has little crystals in it.

I suggest that it would fit someone 5’6” or below (this allows for for heels!). More importantly, it’s for someone who’s a genuine U.K. size 6 or even a 4, with a petite frame. I normally wear size 8-10 trousers and 6-8 tops, and the dress did not go over my hips and bum.

The condition is outstanding. However, is the slightest pink mark on the back, below the bottom of the corset, which I think is lipstick (I think from trying on post-dry clean: the dress is otherwise perfectly clean). I’ve photographed it for transparency but I don’t think it would be at all noticeable.

I’m so disappointed to have to sell this dress. It was the only dress I wanted. The photos are heavily anonymised as they are not me, because the dress, sadly did not fit me. I have accepted that it is simply too small for me, hence very reluctant sale.
