The Dress
I wore this dress for my elopement in 2020 in French Polynesia. The dress is chic, timeless, and super comfortable. It felt special and bridal, yet also felt very appropriate on the beach. The cutout details on the chest and back, and the perfectly delicate straps make the dress unique, while the silhouette and ivory satin fabric are very classic. The dress is in flawless condition except for slight discoloration at the hem due to wear. It was only worn for the ceremony itself (on the beach) and a series of photos following the elopement ceremony. So, a few hours in total. It was then professionally cleaned and stored. I’m finally ready to let it go :)
Alterations
The dress was altered very minimally in the bust and torso to ensure a close fit to my body. The photo of me in the dressing room is pre alteration, and you can see the dress fit nearly perfect. It was brought in just a tad to help keep the bust close fitting.
