The Dress

I wore this Rosa gown from Grace Loves Lace for my wedding in Spain last summer and absolutley adored it. The main oversized stencil rose embroidery is complemented with an under-layer of fine open-thread geometric lace to create a sense of texture and variety of pattern. Lined with a chai lining which highlights the details in the laces (I believe the chai lining has been discontiued by GLL in the ready to wear line). It's very comfortable and there is quite a bit of give in the lining. The dress has the GLL label inside and comes with the branded garment bag. It has been professionally dry cleaned and is in great condition. There's a small amount of fuzziness to the inner lace layer around the underarm area from wear however the outer lace layer covers this so it's not noticeable.

Alterations

Due to Covid and having to delay our wedding several years I ened up being six months pregnant at our wedding so I had a small panel put in at the back to give me a bit more room. I also had darts put in under the arms and a hook and eye put in so that I could hitch the train up for dancing etc. None of the alterations are visible.
