The Dress
Beautiful Vera Wang White sheath dress in ivory. Chiffon over-layer, short train. Very comfortable, and not heavy or too hot for my summer wedding. Since this is a sheath dress it is a little snug around the legs- I had to hike it up a little for dancing. Pictures are of my friend because it no longer fits me and I don't have the wedding pictures any more (other than that first photo). It's a little too big on her- you can see from the one picture I found of myself that it really is beautiful on. It's been profesionally cleaned and is in excellent condition.
Alterations
This dress originally had a sheer one shoulder strap, and a draped chiffon layer on one side. It was altered to be strapless, the drape was pulled out to make a short train, and the belt was added. The size was not changed at all. It is an off-the-rack size 2. I also had it shortened. My height with shoes was 5'7".
