The Dress

I purchased this dress from a boutique in Charleston, SC. It was a floor sample but in excellent condition. I wore it once, and had it professionally dry cleaned afterwards. No damage was incurred during the wedding, although it has some very minor signs of wear from before I bought it, including a few super tiny holes or snags in the tulle (which I can share photos of, but are not visible unless you're close up to the skirt and actively looking for them, as the skirt has several layers and is super flowy), and a few threads coming lose in the beading which can be easily repaired. Extra beads are included for any needed repairs. You can see from my wedding photos that the dress looks gorgeous and perfect in use!

This is a stunning, vintage inspired dress that I absolutely adored. It's kind of a blush/champagne color with gorgeous beadwork on the bodice. It was comfortable to wear all night, even through lots of fun dancing. I had brought a change of clothes for the rehearsal but didn't even need to change. The dress is relatively lightweight for a wedding dress, and provides good snug coverage of the chest area. It would be great for any season of wedding - mine was in the fall and outdoors, and I brought a white fur stole that I was going to use if needed, but didn't end up needing. The train is just long enough to be pretty for photos, but not crazy long. It bustles really easily and looks great when bustled. Being tulle, it did tend to pick up leaves as I walked along the grass, as my wedding was outside in October, but the photographer was able to edit those out :)

Alterations

It was originally a size 8, but I had it professionally altered by a well-reputed seamstress in Charleston, SC, to fit me - I wear a size 0 in most dresses and am 5' 3/4" tall barefoot, 110 lbs, 32C bra size, and worse a flat shoe with this dress. A bustle was also added.
