The Dress
This beautiful wedding dress is full of happy vibes from the most wonderful day of our lives to date. It was only worn for about two hours: during our civil ceremony and for the photo shoot. I changed into a simple wrap dress by Diane Von Furstenberg for the dinner because I bought it before this one and the house was a little crowded. My mother chose this one for our civil wedding because she thought the other one was a little informal for this occasion—and I am very glad she did, especially now I look at the photos!
There were no alterations made due to time constraints, so it is as good as new—a little roomy for me at the top, but comfortable to wear. It is a size 2-4 and is ankle length and a bit longer at the back. The bust is structured with a comfortable corset and is decorated with lace/guipure flowers and beads. It can be worn on or off the shoulders. The back has a transparent triangle shape with delicate pearly buttons. The tulle skirt has four layers that add float volume. It is not at all heavy. If you live in Munich, you are welcome to try it in person.
