My dream dress!

Gorgeous silk, extremely comfortable to wear with pockets! beautiful full bow on the back that can even be detached and re-used on a second dress (what I did for reception). This dress was only worn for 4 hours because I did not wear to reception, and I was never on a dirty surface.

The dry cleaners cleaned it very well- the ONLY minor areas that show some dark marks are the inside of the bow train (not visible when wearing), and one small section on the very bottom of the bow train. The dress looks flawless.

I did not wear a bra because I didn't need one (Size 32.5 bust).

Wore 2 inch heels and the gown was hemmed in the front only to allow me to walk with zero issues, but still hide my shoes!

The price is reflective of how much I paid minus how little I wore it, and how well it was cared for and cleaned. I wish I would've bought this dress used!! It's stunning but was very expensive!

Alterations

Fitted to fit waist snugly by taking in the dress-- but not too tight. Straps taken up slightly. The bridal store made me order a full size up from what I usually wear, so I was literally swimming in the size 10 AUS and these alterations made the dress fit me like my true size. I am a true size 4 with narrow hips. All buttons, details of the dress remain exactly the same.

Only the bow train was bustled. This is a very voluminous bow and I wanted to re-use it for my reception, so a tailor bustled it so I could pin it up and dance with it without it dragging on the floor.

The hem of the gown was taken up ONLY in the front to allow me to wear 2 inch heels and walk without stepping on the dress.
