The Dress

If you are looking for a backless dress with a bit of lace and a train, then REGIS might well be what you are looking for!

Featuring a textured lace bodice with beadwork, which flows into a chiffon skirt with an elegant train. There is an additional layer of lace under the chiffon and a slit in the chiffon at the front so onlookers get additional glimpses of lace when you move (a further layer of material under the lace means your legs will be hidden from view).

Worn on my wedding day and professionally cleaned to a high standard. There are 3 minor marks near the bottom of the skirt (see photos for detail) that I don’t think would be noticeable when wearing the dress. I loved wearing this dress and hope that someone else enjoys it as much as I did.

Alterations

The dress is a Rosa Clara size 10. I usually wear street size 8 or 10. The bust cups were changed for skin coloured ones so that they didn’t show through the sheer bodice. Bustles have been added so that the train can be hidden away later during the wedding (see video for the ‘bustled’ look). The length was shortened for my height in heels (167cm). The straps were shortened by a small amount.
