The Dress
Beautiful, flattering dress made from stretch-duchesse satin, has precision-placed darting to flatter the silhouette and turns to reveal a classic godet train. The thin straps are elasticated so it doesn't slip down. The dress will fit an 8-10 like me but I’m happy to send measurements.
This was worn for my wedding this summer and has since been dry cleaned. I can’t find any marks or flaws, it looks pretty perfect (see images of the bottom of the dress).
I also have a Halfpenny London Mayfair Skirt (100% Silk Organza) which is also listed. This was worn over the dress for the ceremony.
Alterations
The only alterations made were to the length so that it touched the floor. I’m 5”4 but wore 4.5 inch platform heels so if you’re going for a lower heel, this will also suit someone taller.
Alterations were made at the Halfpenny recommended seamstresses; Buckleigh of London (Chelsea).
