The Dress
Stephanie Allin and her fabulous team made this dress for me at their shop in Mumbles, Wales. Completely hand made.
The dress is white, made from Italian Crepe and silk bodice. The dress itself is plain all over, a V neckline, with a band under the bust to nip you in. The dress nips in at the bum also for a lovely shape.
The cape is just fabulous and I loved it immediately. It has tiny hooks that can be fastened on to the shoulders. The embroidery detailing at the shoulders, upper back and bottom are to die for. The embroidery covers the V shape at the back. I had so many compliments on it.
I also have a short bolero version of the cape. I had this made for the evening but didn’t end up wearing it. So that will come with the dress too.
I’m 5 foot 5, and wore heels that were nearly 4 inches high. I’m a size 8 in the photos, and have a 32D chest. The dress has cups, so no bra worn.
The dress will come in the Stephanie Allin dress bag.
