The Dress
This designer Ivory Casablanca Style 1942 wedding gown has timeless lace and beading details. The fabric is beaded lace appliqué on Point D'esprit with Silky Satin lining. One of my favorite parts of the dress are the accented sheer cap sleeves and the plunging “V” shaped back neckline that is accented with scalloped Chantilly lace appliqués. The bodice features a silk band and beaded flower appliqué. The dress is floor length but has a stunning lace train that flows elegantly. The train can be bustled with coordinating strings and buttons post ceremony. The dress is in great condition except for the minor wear marks on the bottom lining. The wear isn't really noticeable and can probably by made to look new with dry cleaning.
