The Dress

This is the most sparkly dress, something I thought I'd never wear as I am not the girliest of girls but it glistens and catches the light so beautifully, it really is a showstopper. I wore it for my December wedding and felt like it had a bit of a wiggle/60s vibe to it. I saw someone else try it on in the bridal shop and was wowed by the huge lace train! It would be perfect for another Christmas wedding but would look equally stunning in the dappled late summer light.

It's got a golden pink hue to it but I think the advertised colour is 'blush' which was great against my very fair skin and not too draining. I'm quite busty (a 32JJ at the time of my wedding)and never thought I'd be able to wear a dress with such tiny straps yet feel so supported and comfortable. I'm 5'7" and wore a 2.5" heel on my wedding day. My sister has modelled the dress for me for resale purposes (she is a size 10 and 5'3" for comparison and an H cup). It has beautiful lace with rhinestone embellishments which sit over the top of the blush sheer layer. There is buttons which run over the derriere and down to where the flared skirt begins.

More detailed photos show the alterations to bust and back and also hopefully portray the 'blush' colour a little better. Unfortunately there is a small tear which happened during my big day. It's in the train and can be seen in the last photo but is very small and does not impact on the beauty of the dress. It was repaired by The Wedding Dress Cleaning Company who also cleaned the dress post wedding. The dress comes with the size 12 under skirt (the bit that makes it stick out)and in a presentation box with acid free tissue paper.Happy to answer any questions and send over any photos as required.

Alterations

Alterations: My clever seamstress covered the original plunging neckline with excess lace from the hem to add a little more modesty and also added some at the bottom of the back to help reinforce the inbuilt corsetry. She took up the length as well for me and nipped it in at the waist.
