The Dress
Purchased off the rack at Rachel and Rose Bridal Shop in 2019, this Ofelia dress by Tina Valderi, was THE dress for my destination wedding in Hawaii. It’s a classic design, offering full lace fabric (that is not too heavy) and a slightly beaded detail along the neckline and back. The dress comes with a beautiful, detachable train that I did not use.
The dress was professionally cleaned before through Rachel and Rose Bridal Shop, and after the wedding through Elegance Preserved.
Alterations
The dress was originally a Size 6. It was altered down to fit a my measurements (closest to Size 0). The back of the dress was lowered into a deeper “V” shape. Since the dress was purchased off the rack, the lace fabric needed to be “shaved” as to look like new.
