The Dress
I felt like a princess in this dress!! It was absolutely amazing and the details were perfect, from the deep V neck to the crystal beads. The dress is silk and organza. It felt amazing on and was so beautiful. The high waist also made it so I didn't feel like I had to suck it in for it to look absolutely stunning.
There was a slight rip in the organza top layer after I wore the dress. I had it repaired. The repair is about 1.5inches and is on the waist line on the right side of the dress (falls under the arm), see picture. There is a few minor imperfections in the organza and on the shear back from wear.
Alterations
I had the dress taken in from a size 8 to a size 4. This included decreasing the sleeve circumference and taking in at the shoulder and waist. The seamstress left extra fabric in the sleeves so if the sleeve circumference can be taken back out. I had the train taken off. I am 5'9'' and wore 4 inch heels. The length in the front of the dress is basically as it came.
