The Dress

This lovely dress pairs a minimalist sensibility with a flowing bohemian vibe. The top has a a flattering boat neck cut and loose bodice, meeting a floor length skirt at the waist for a relaxed hourglass fit. The dress is lined, and also comes with a custom, handmade corset that can optionally be worn in place of a bra. Lace detail down the center and arms also feature pearl details, and give just a peek of skin. The back of the dress is a full button-up. It is handmade by a wedding dress designer and seamstress I found on Etsy. The measurements are custom, though roughly fit a size 12-14.

The Armani silk fabric is soft to the touch and drapes beautifully. The skirt is definitively too long for me at 5'10" in shoes, so you'll either want to be a couple inches taller or plan to get it hemmed. I'm not sure what height would work best for the length as-is.

I really love that this dress accentuates my waist without drawing too much attention to my chest or creating tightness around my hips. While I did not wear it, I think it would really marry (ha!) both style and comfort for an all-day affair.

I didn't wear this for my wedding because it ultimately just didn't feel like me. Only tried on 2-3 times, no wear.
