The Dress

This a beautiful dress from Essence of Australia and made me feel so incredible on my wedding day!

As you can see in pictures the dress is floor length with a plunging neckline and open back. There is sheer material between the breasts to provide some class and stability. On the sides of the dress (see pics) it is sheer fabric with beading to provide some wiggle room in the dress and allow more comfort. This is also the area where the dress can be let in/out in order to accommodate your body type. I had the dress let out a little during my alterations. The bustle is already created on the dress, it has two large clear beads below the zipper and within the train of the dress are 4 small fabric loops that hook onto the beads to gather the dress up after the ceremony.

The dress also has fabric added under the spaghetti straps to prevent irritation and redness from the dress design.

With alterations I did not adjust the length of the dress in any form. I am 5’8” and with 1 inch block heels this dress was the perfect length for me.

The dress is very comfortable and lightweight which is why I fell in love with it. It’s very easy to move around and dance in. Flattering and showed off my curves beautifully without making me feel like I was suffocating in a dress. So so so many compliments on this dress!

The dress has been dry cleaned and is in excellent condition , I am hoping another future bride can wear this for her special day! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Alterations

Dress was let out on the sides.
Breast cups were made smaller to fit my body. I’m currently a 34C.
Bustle added to back of dress just below the zipper.
Fabric sewn to underside of spaghetti straps to prevent irritation.
