The Dress

I felt like a princess in this dress on my wedding day!
Loved it so much it’s taken me this long to finally part with it.
Here are some details:
- Was dry cleaned right after wear for wedding
- Has been in storage in my pet-free, smoke -free home since wedding
- No spots or damage to fabric has occurred (see issues section below)
Bodice:
- Fitted bodice is made of satin with pearl and crystal beading detail across chest and waist through to the back of the dress
- Shear at chest and shoulder, trimmed with satin
- Zipper closure at back, flap covered with satin covered buttons, and hook and eyes added to hide zipper
- All original beading and buttons are intact
- There is vertical boning in rib to waist area (not uncomfortable at all since the boning is soft)
Skirt Portion:
- Full, floor-length ball gown skirt portion is overlaid with organza fabric and trimmed with satin
- A bustle feature has been added (for dancing purposes, of course!)

Issues you will want to know:
-Organza and satin top is still ivory color. The skirt lining under the organza, however, has yellowed slightly (see photos).
- There is slight stretching that has occurred in the shear check/shoulder fabric of the bodice from being hung. I have a short torso so it sags a bit at the upper chest on me now that stretching has occurred. Might be fine for someone with a normal-sized or long torso. Regardless, it seems it can easily be altered to be corrected. No ripping/tearing has occurred to the shear fabric.

Alterations

Two extra breast pads have been stitched in on each side (because I’m very small up top ;), and can easily be removed.
Petticoat has been added to the skirt portion of the dress to add fullness.
Bustling added to pick up train.
