The Dress

Kendall Dress (1235) by Martina Liana purchased from Felicity Bridals in December 2020.

I am selling my gorgeous wedding dress, including a 3m tulle veil for free. The veil is brand new as I forgot it on the wedding day, the veil in the pictures is 2.5m borrowed from a friend.

The dress is so stunning, classic yet modern and extremely comfortable to wear. The three layer stretch crepe fabric is so comfortable and thick, providing support and flatters the skims silhouette beautifully.

I have had the dress dry cleaned at Regal Dry Cleaners New Market ($400) and it has come out like new.

Description of the gown:

Modern Simple Gown with Pleated Train. Luxe simplicity meets fresh, effortless texture in this “less is more” statement wedding dress from Martina Liana. The stretch crepe fit-and-flare silhouette holds more weight in the fabric, with curved seaming along the bodice for a structure and support.


The detachable fabric belt ties the look together for an enhanced hourglass shape, balanced by the wide square neckline of the bodice and pleated draping of the wide train feature. This bridal gown features a clean scooped back feature and zips beneath fabric-covered buttons.

Alterations

The dress has been let out a couple of cm at the hips, this could easily be taken in if you are smaller than me.

The dress was hemmed to my height. The belt has had two stitches to fix it to the front of the waist to keep it from moving, this could also easily be undone if you prefer the dress with no belt.

The lovely seamstress at Felicity’s Bridal also sewed all the layers of crepe together to stop them separating and becoming unaligned.

The dress originally had fabric buttons all the way down to the end of the train. I had the buttons removed from the train up to the bottom as shown in the photos.

Cups have been sewed into the bust of the dress. These could also be removed if you prefer it without.
