The Dress
Beautiful A-line ivory wedding dress with fitted lace bodice, illusion bateau neckline, custom lace half sleeves, and delicate silver beading at waistline. The skirt has five layers of organza and tulle for an elegant, structured look that is comfortable and flattering. The train of the skirt is long but not heavy and can be bustled for ease of wear and comfort. Three simple tie up bustles were added during alterations. The bodice has beautiful lace detailing and a delicate series of buttons up the back (these are real, not just for looks). The bodice is a size 18 and perfectly fits bra cup size DD without need for extra undergarments. Worn once in the 2018 season. Customized by the seamstresses at Brides by Tara, Peterborough, ON, where the dress was purchased. UK design by Callista Bridal, design name: "Bethany." This designer no longer sells in Canada. Dress has been dry-cleaned. Veil also included. A stunning dress, comfortable to wear and lightweight for even a hot summer's day. I hate to part with it, but would love to see another bride enjoy it as much as I did. Asking $875obo.
Alterations
Half sleeves were added to the bodice where the original design had only lace dropped straps. The dress has been hemmed for a woman 5ft 3" wearing pumps about 3" in height. The skirts still sweep the floor.
