It was a very pleasant experience. I was selling a dress and then end up buying a dress. Very easy to navigate. The only downside was receiving the payment through pay pay, which charged about 3%, is does not sound like much, however this does add up the more you are selling your dress for. Also pay pay hold onto the money for up to 21 days. We also got charged a fee for requesting the money early. Sellers should be made more aware of this.

I found Stillwhite an intuitive and supportive platform to advertise and eventually sell my wedding dress. The concept of it is great - you pay once and then your dress is listed forever without you having to do anything, while Stillwhite sends you monthly updates on how many people have viewed your listing. I was particularly impressed by the logistics of the sale: an easy and safe process that protects both the buyer and the seller. It was also lovely to be able to have a chat with the potential buyers. I would most certainly recommend Stillwhite to anyone looking to sell or buy a wedding dress.

Wonderful site to be able to search for gowns that may be either discontinued or lightly used. Info on sizing is very helpful. Messaging system gives alerts if you are giving out too much personal information. My only complaint was the payment was through PayPal, and for some reason certain credit cards are not accepted from the US. Had to go through PayPal’s site and create an invoice (per stillwhite’s recommendation), the conversion rate from USD to Euros was different than stillwhite, so I had to pay more USD than expected and the seller got less euros than asked for.
