This Venusian wedding dress by Jenny Packham is whimsical, sophisticated and elegant. It was my dream wedding dress and I felt utterly divine when I wore it (just as every bride deserves to feel on their wedding day!). It was bought second hand (worn once before me) and is too perfect not to be worn for a lucky third time.

It is covered in intricate pearl beading detail and has the most flattering shape - from the sleeves, neckline and back to the layered skirt, everything about this dress is soft, flowing and feminine.

It is silk-lined with a chiffon outer (beaded) layer and train. I wore this with a plunge/U shaped bra (12C) which was hidden well despite the mid length back and sheer V-cut at the front.

Alterations

It has been altered to take it in slightly as it is a UK 12 and the previous owner (and I) are more of a 10-12
The length was also shortened (I am 160 cm tall and wore this with heels) and it had a minor alteration to allow the train to be clasped back so as not to drag on the ground during the wedding reception
