I listed my Vera Wang wedding dress on four wedding sites. StillWhite was the only one I received any inquiries and then successfully sold it on for a fair price. The experience was seamless. I'm not sure why people complained about receiving payment. We completed the transaction through PayPal (I already had an account) and you can pay 2% to get the money immediately or not pay anything and get the money in 1-3 days, all of which I think is reasonable. Overall, I highly recommend StillWhite!

Very expensive to list a dress here. Difficult that it was something that you had to spend more and more to promote. I felt like I lost a lot of money on my listing because of this. However, ultimately, I was able to sell my beautiful dress to an awesome person so I guess the site works! That makes me happy so therefore 4 out of 5.

I think it is a great idea and really appreciated the opportunity to buy a used dress. The user journey was confusing. Neither I nor the seller could figure out how I could buy the dress. A button was on my screen "buy now" and when I clicked it, it said "please ask the seller to make you an offer." Neither I nor the seller understood what that meant. I went to the Help articles and looked at the "how does it work" article and there were no details about how to actually buy the dress. In fact, in that article on the "buyer" side it seemed to have some "seller" instructions....This was pretty confusing. We figured out that the seller had to press a button on her end, but it could have been more clearly explained up front to avoid the confusion. Also she didn't know she had to go to the post office first and figure out how much it would be to ship it to me. I think all these steps could be more clearly explained. All in all, I am really happy to have been able to buy a used dress from such a sweet lady, and grateful for the platform to facilitate this. We will see what the condition is like when it arrives, but I'm sure it will be great!

Listing was easy, adjusting the price was easy, communication with potential buyers was easy….but once I actually sold my dress trying to get paid was so ridiculous that I almost just kept the dress. Stillwhite only allows the buyer to pay with PayPal, which seems easy. HOWEVER…the minute the buyer paid me, PayPal tried to permanently disable my account for violating a user agreement where I supposedly tried to deceive PayPal or it’s customer! Meaning that they did not recognize my sale through Stillwhite as a legit transaction and thought I was trying to pull one over on the buyer of my dress. It took multiple phone calls, hours of waiting, and uploading documents in duplicate to PayPal to get my account unlocked where I could accept my buyers payment. Meanwhile I’m sure she felt uncomfortable and actually thought I was trying to pull something over on her! Now I realize that this is equally a problem with PayPal, but Stillwhite needs to either communicate with them to prevent situations like this or they need to offer sellers another way to get paid! This ruined the whole experience and I wish I had never listed my dress on this website.

I just bought my dress. So I haven’t received it yet, but I’m so excited! My seller gave me all the information I asked for & Stillwhite made it easy to pay. On the site there’s a way you can assure you will receive your order by asking the seller “make me an offer.” After Stillwhite allows you to pay with your PayPal account, which helps to prevent fraud. If you want that dress that’s $6,000+ for half the price I would suggest to buy here! I went to several bridal dress boutiques & didn’t want to pay an arm & leg for it. Stillwhite made it possible for me to get the dress I wanted in my budget!

I’m still waiting for the dress to be delivered, but the overall experience at Stillwhite has been great so far. I’m really excited that I get my first choice dress style for half the price I would have paid at a local store. One problem was that there seem to be “stale” listings of dresses by inactive sellers (this is an unproven suspicion based on sellers’ last-active dates and lack of responses to questions). I would recommend this service because it offers a competitive opportunity in an expensive industry, but I encourage patience and determination because you can’t be 100% confident that the dress you see is still available.
