Jason and Shelly shared their special day together at the Museum of Old and New art - MONA in Tasmania. Both Shelly and Jason love their home state. Jason is a professional artist, so it felt an obvious choice for them to be married in a creative, artistic setting.
From the bride: "We planned our day with an intimate ceremony and reception in mind. With no bridal party, we focused on our guest experience. Guests arrived to be pampered in their private luxury pavilion rooms.
Without a bridal party to cater for, we felt free to express our own individual wardrobe preferences - Jason wore Hugo Boss and I knew from the start my gown would be by Pallas Couture, regardless of the price tag. I had researched Australian couture gowns and fell in love with 'Angelika' - with one slight modification to the sheer panels at the front. As a petite bride I felt my shape would be flattered by a sleeker, elegant look and when I saw the Pallas designs I knew I had to have one. I did not try any other dresses on - I just went with my instincts and could not have been more happy with my choice.
When Jason caught a glimpse of me his eyes welled up - he knew he wouldn't see a 'ball gown'; however, he said had no idea just how stunning the dress would be

Reception was a single, long table in MONA's barrel room, with a long, single table for shared plates and conversation, featuring a backdrop of wine barrels draped with festoon lighting."
Shelly and Jason plan to invest sale proceeds into their one year anniversary 'honeymoon'. Due to work commitments they were unable to holiday after their wedding and they could think of nothing better than combining a 'vegan retreat' with a trip to Disneyland!
