Miss Universe Australia's Wedding

International model and a former Miss Universe Australia (2000), Samantha Frost has appeared in many bridal magazines in both Australia and overseas.

We wondered how a bride to be with so much fabulous exposure to such amazing designers would choose a wedding dress. Well, according to Samantha, choosing Australian wedding dress designer Lisa Gowing, was a no brainer.

Going for an effortlessly chic look Samantha wanted a dress that was timeless and beautiful. Working closely with Lisa, they combined two of the designer’s most exquisite styles to design something unique that would become, in Samantha’s words, the "perfect wedding dress".

"For our wedding, we wanted something that reflected our eclectic and carefree personalities. We had a barefoot Australian wedding in Bali with a French twist (at a French Villa). We had to ensure a patriotic touch, so we wore all Australian designers. While we wanted a beautiful wedding, at the heart of our big day we wanted it to be all about fun. We had an adorable and funny reading 'advice on love and marriage' by our guest’s children under 10 year olds. There were also cute bridal scarecrows, sky lanterns and fireworks."

With a baby on the way the happy couple will be putting the money from the sale of Samantha’s wedding dress towards a pram or car seat.
