What's not to love in this romantic vintage wedding, with one stunning photo after another, the photographer beautifully captures this radiant bride. Here is Emma's story:
"My husband and I were actually married before our wedding! He was deploying with the military for about 7 months and he wanted get married before he deployed. In the lead up to the deployment we tried to organise our wedding at short notice but it proved too difficult. So, we went up the coast with 6 close friends and our pastor and we were married by the beach. We had a lovely weekend away with friends and soon after my new husband deployed. We still planned to have our wedding on his return so I planned whilst he was away and we renewed our vows and had our perfect wedding with all of our family on his return in September last year!
I wanted everything to just flow and work together, my theme was vintage romance and I used a colour pallet of apricots, peach, neutral colours and ivory. My flowers were divine and absolutely perfectly matched to my theme. The flowers honestly just made the theme work and pulled everything together!
My dress was the first thing I bought, before deciding on themes, venue, I decided on the perfect dress, once I had that I just worked everything else around my dress and that worked well. I think it's important to make sure the bridesmaids' dresses have the same feel as the brides dress and the theming of the day. The bridesmaid dresses were the hardest to find and it took me some time to decide but we found the perfect dresses in the end. For the gents, with my influence, my husband picked the suits. They also had to work with the theme and the bridesmaid dresses.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, I couldn't fault a thing. I think a highlight for me was walking into both the ceremony and the reception, it was just so beautiful and everything looked exactly how I had planned. Our cake was delicious so taking a bite of that was yum!
The day goes so fast, enjoy every moment and try not to stress too much in the lead up to it, your day will be perfect because everyone you love will be there to celebrate you and your husband-to-be's special day!"
Emma and her husband will be putting the money from selling her Martina Liana wedding dress towards buying items for the new arrival they are expecting! We wish them both all the best.
