The Dress
Incredible custom dress made by Georgia Young.
It is a off shoulder design with the off shoulder detail able to be undone and tucked in to allow for a strapless dress also (I did this for the dance part of the reception).
There is a detail of criss-cross fabric over the silk at the waist which is subtle but creates a very cool waist detail.
It is a zip closure with buttons over the top of the zip.
The top of the dress is corseted to the waist and the skirt is a doubled silk so it is a little heavier than traditional silk (great for concealing lumps and bumps). The skirt also has a split in the side (not at the front of the leg but at a slight angle so it is only visible when walking, the split comes up to just below finger tip length (I wanted to be able to wear spanx and be sure they would not be visible so did not want a high split).
The skirt is able to be bustled.

I am 5ft 8.5inch and I wore 7cm heels on the day.
