The Dress
This hand-made, one of a kind dress is so incredibly special. It is French beaded lace, sheer illusion fabric and loop buttons on top, with a full skirt in Italian organza. There is a beaded belt sewn on. Created by a truly gifted South African designer it looked spectacular on my wedding and was comfortable beyond words. When I tried it on, it made me feel like butterflies had landed on me. It is light, easy to move in, does not crease and very elegant. I am tall - almost 5ft11 - and the skirt was floor length in front and draped gently on the ground at the back. There are ribbons sewn on the inside back of the skirt to tie it up for dancing.
I'm selling it because a dress this magical doesn't deserve to sit in a cupboard - I hope someone else can enjoy it just as much as I have.
