The Dress
I cannot recommend a dress more beautiful and comfortable than the Inca wedding gown by GLL!
With a low back, nude lining, and stunning lace design, this dress stole my heart the moment I saw it. From the perfect lace details up close to the overall elegance, I believe this dress a dream come true for any bride.
Please see the below description taken off the official GLL website:
With a unique combination of French and Japanese lace, paired with a flattering classic fit and a statement low back, the Inca is an unforgettable, signature GLL gown. Made for the woman with effortless style, with substance and passion. Inca is a piece of art with unique shapes and contouring, designed to highlight the female figure in the most flattering way.
Designed with a straight boat neck and a barely there, 7/8 length sleeve, the Inca has been cleverly constructed with all the right elements. The daringly low back is the highlight of this exquisite gown, which will be remembered for years to come. The unique paneling, made up of layers of handpicked French lace, Japanese cotton lace, hand cut motifs and sheer, detailed cutouts, gives the Inca a romantic, yet contemporary feel. The Inca is finished with an elegant train, handmade from layers of carefully curated lace and Italian silk.

I felt confident and secure, but elegant and bold the entire day - an experience I wasn't sure was possible in a wedding dress. Beauty in no way, compromised my comfort and I believe that a large part of my enjoyment on the day came from the awareness of being in this dress.
I hope that some expectant bride-to-be in South Africa, or elsewhere in the world, gets to enjoy the same pride and excitement of wearing this signature dress on their wedding day!
Please contact me with any questions you may have.
I shortened the dress by 10cm all round, but tapered it so that the length of the train still remained its original length.
I also had a tie fitted under the lace overlay, so that I could hitch up my train later on in the day. This made it very comfortable to move around without worrying about dirtying it too much.
There is a light brown patch on the train that couldn't be removed completely while dry cleaning, but is barely noticeable.
