The Dress
This Temperley London gown is a slip style with a long train. It's made from embroidered tulle (top two layers) and silk (bottom two layers). It has a deep V-neck and low back with sewn-on buttons that run up the back, however it fastens with an invisible zip and single hook and eye. It has spaghetti strap sleeves and separate straps that fall flatteringly over the top of the arms.
The dress is an ivory white colour and the tulle features polka dots and a floral design.
This hasn't been altered in any other place except the length. I'm 172cm tall and was wearing very small block heels, approx 2 inches (5cm) high on my wedding day.
I ordered this dress from David Jones Bridal in late 2016 and it was delivered in March for my May 2017 wedding.
Dress has been professionally dry cleaned.
Has been shortened by a wedding dress alteration specialist and has had hooks added at the back so the train can be worn up. I spent $600 on alterations.
